Advance Tickets On Sale!

With less than a month to go, the chef line-up is now complete and advance tickets are on sale!  Tickets are now available for purchase at Ocean Boulevard and Outer Banks Veterinary Hospital in Kitty Hawk for $25 each. Tickets are also on sale the day of the event but get your tickets early as this event does sell out! And silent auction items are still coming in!

Tickets for Sale Next Week and More Chefs!

Less than a month to go until delicious shrimp! Advance tickets will be for sale at Ocean Boulevard and Outer Banks Veterinary Hospital in Kitty Hawk Friday October 13th. Tickets are $25 each for entry to the event (cash or check). Get your tickets early to get to the shrimp faster on November 5th! This event sells out!

We’ve just received word that Chef Matt of Aqua has joined the competition! That makes 7 delicious shrimp dishes so far! Silent auction items are coming in, things are coming together to make this the best cookoff yet!

Chefs and MC Return!

We have confirmation that Chef Johanna from Cafe Lachine in Nags Head will be returning this year to prepare a dish for this year’s cookoff as well as Chef Mike from Ocean Boulevard!  Also joining the competition will be Chef Evan, representing Blue Water Grill in Manteo, NC. Christian Benedi will also be back as our MC (he made the event a lot of fun last year)!  That makes three great Shrimp dishes so far, with more to come!

This Year’s Shrimp Cookoff 2017 is Sunday, November 5th!

The 8th annual Shrimp CookOff is slated to be held at Ocean Boulevard Bistro & Martini Bar in  Kitty Hawk, NC – from 12:00 noon until 3:00pm on Sunday November 5th.  This casual, fun competition has been a huge success since 2010, and we look forward to an excellent eighth annual event.  We will have 8-10 competing chefs from around the Outer Banks, cooking fresh, local shrimp in their favorite style of preparation.  A live MC will be keeping up with announcements and door prizes and a silent auction will also be held on the second floor of Ocean Boulevard, with a People’s Choice Ballot.  The bar will be open serving Beer & Wine specials along with your favorite beverage.  The cost per person is $25 at the door, and tickets can be bought in advance at Ocean Boulevard or Outer Banks Veterinary Hospital in October 17th.  This year’s event is sponsored by the Nags Head Dolphin Watch, Kitty Hawk Kites, Outer Banks Veterinary Hospital, Access Design, and Max Radio.
